I’m in the middle of finals week, and spent the first two days slamming as much calculus into my mind as I could in 10 hours. This was Good Thing because I scored better on my exam, it was Bad Thing because kind of burnt myself out. I know myself well enough to realize when I’m just not capable of continuing down a path, and I had reached it for the day. I also know that I can usually rejuvenate myself by switching gears. So that’s what I did.
I’d been assembling a tool kit to keep in the trunk of my newly acquired Subaru. I had been toying with the idea of making some kind of wrap for the wrenches, since I didn’t want the nuisance of hearing them rattle around back there. As luck would have it, I received an email from MAKE magazine with a link to some interesting design ideas on that very subject.
I fired up the sewing machine, and here’s what I ended up with:
